For many people who have been in a car accident, their life becomes divided into two parts; the part before the auto accident and the part after it If you suffer an injury, how you choose to deal with that injury can make a big difference in how your quality of life plays out in the years to come. This is one of the biggest reasons why you should get checked for potential injuries -- even if you don't feel them as soon as possible after an accident. Another major reason for getting checked out as soon as possible is to establish credibility with the insurance company for when you file a claim.
In an attempt to deal with an injury as completely as possible, it is not uncommon for those who have been in an accident to seek out chiropractic treatment after their accident. In Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada, Anthem Chiropractic offers an effective option for immediate pain management as well as ongoing care that can identify the root of the problem. Treatment starts with seeing our chiropractor, Dr. Derek T. Day for an assessment. Even if you initially feel okay, it is important to be evaluated as soon as possible. Your adrenaline along with the drama of the incident can mask injuries in the moment, but then those injuries may manifest themselves later on. Getting an assessment will help to identify what injuries can be attributed to the accident, and will determine how the treatment should be covered by applicable auto insurance and medical insurance policies. The larger the treatment gap is, the more likely it is that the car insurance company will claim that the injuries treated are not related to the accident.
At Anthem Chiropractic, we will help you verify al insurance benefits. It is important to establish both your treatment plan and a way to pay for it. In the case of auto accidents, first party medical payments, liens and insurance are all options.
Many of our patients at Anthem Chiropractic have their treatments covered by insurance, and we are familiar with claim filing and are able to help you determine what is necessary from you to fill out all paperwork properly. In order to make the process easier, we ask that you download the applicable new patient forms and complete them before your visit.
Auto Accidents aren't the only reason why people seek chiropractic care. Our chiropractor, Dr. Derek T. Day has two decades of experience treating patients in Henderson and Las Vegas for a variety of ailments. Using a combination of chiropractic care, spinal decompression, massage therapy, orthotics, massage, and nutrition and exercise advice to not only alleviate a variety of aches and pains, but also to help our patients achieve better overall wellness. In many cases, regular medical insurance will cover chiropractic care for these purposes.

"I have had back problems and had 2 surgeries and wanting a 3rd. Dr. Day provided a multidisciplinary plan that included chiropractic therapies and pain management. Pain management provided some immediate relief but I had residual pain in my right leg. Steroid injections failed. Dr Day recommended decompression table therapy and from the 1st session my leg pain was relieved. I continue with the decompression table therapy to ensure pain relief and to keep surgery at bay. Thank you Dr. Day!"
