It's cold and flu season in Henderson and Las Vegas, NV, and at Anthem Chiropractic, our chiropractor, Dr. Derek Day, wants to make sure the members of our community know how to stay healthy at this time of year. While some people rely on flu shots to help them improve their immune system and fight off illness, we recommend natural chiropractic care. Our non-invasive medication-free methods can help your body function more effectively while fighting off viruses and infection.
The brain is the command center of your body. The brain works by telling the other parts of your body, including your immune system, how to function. Chiropractic methods help build your immune system by facilitating good communication between the brain and the rest of the body. This can help your immune system fight off illnesses more effectively, which can prevent you from becoming ill and can also help you recover from illnesses more quickly. In addition to spinal adjustment, our chiropractor also uses the following techniques to help our patients at cold and flu season:

"I have had back problems and had 2 surgeries and wanting a 3rd. Dr. Day provided a multidisciplinary plan that included chiropractic therapies and pain management. Pain management provided some immediate relief but I had residual pain in my right leg. Steroid injections failed. Dr Day recommended decompression table therapy and from the 1st session my leg pain was relieved. I continue with the decompression table therapy to ensure pain relief and to keep surgery at bay. Thank you Dr. Day!"
